What Does a Day-Use Hotel Booking Include? A Checklist
Learn to read an offer precisely, distinguish the booked facility from other hotel amenities, and verify package terms.
A title does not tell the whole story
Start with the offer description: type of access, entry and exit window, duration, and included guest count. A label such as pool, spa, or room describes the activity but does not answer everything the booking provides. Look for each named service and any related restrictions or instructions.
A hotel having a restaurant, gym, or parking does not mean your booking includes it. Do not infer benefits from property photos or a general amenities list; ask for clarification if an unlisted detail matters to your plan.
Check packages as a set of components
A package may combine activities, but calling it a complete experience is not enough. Read the listed components, each segment's duration and order, and any access or participant limits. If package components or inventory are not confirmed, they should not be treated as bookable services.
Compare the total time required with your schedule, and check that transitions between facilities fit the listed window. Do not assume access to the rest of the hotel from booking one facility, or that every party member is included unless the offer states the count.
Keep a record of what you selected
Before payment, match the services, date, time, and guests against the booking summary, and check the final total including VAT and any discount. After confirmation, keep the voucher as your reference for booking details and arrival instructions.
If your expectations differ from the description, do not book based on an unwritten promise. Ask first or choose an offer that clearly states what you need. Current options appear in FUNDIQI search and offer pages and can change with availability.
